4th Arab jamboree in Tunis - 40 Millimes
This Tunisian stamp, issued on August 9, 1960, commemorates the 4th Arab Jamboree, a large scout gathering organized in Tunis. The event brought together young people from several Arab countries around the values of scouting: fraternity, cooperation, civic training and intercultural openness. The stamp illustration adopts an allegorical composition, featuring symbols of cooperation and unity, which reflect the spirit of the scout movement and the importance of exchanges between Arab delegations. Through this broadcast, Tunisia highlighted its active role in the development of regional scouting and its commitment to encouraging youth to participate in the construction of a united and dynamic society.
