13th Congress of Arab Engineers in Tunis
This stamp commemorates the thirteenth Congress of Arab Engineers, organized in Tunis in March 1975, and highlights the role of technical knowledge and engineering in the development of the Arab world and Tunisia in particular. The illustration adopts a modern and abstract graphic language, evoking slender structures, lines of force and networks, symbols of construction, innovation and scientific mastery. The presence of the crescent refers to the common cultural identity of the Arab world, while the entire composition suggests elevation, progress and projection towards the future. In the Tunisian context, this stamp reflects a period marked by a strong desire for modernization, industrialization and training of technical managers after independence. It underlines the importance given to engineers as key players in economic development, infrastructure and regional cooperation, while affirming Tunisia's place as a host country for large-scale intellectual and professional meetings, engaged in scientific dialogue and the collective construction of progress.
