40th Anniversary of FAO

This stamp commemorates four decades of the fight against hunger within the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The circular visual presents a globe surrounded by ears of wheat arranged in rays, evoking the fertility of the earth and global food security. The words “Fiat Panis” (Let there be bread) on the FAO logo recall the original mission of the institution. For Tunisia, this stamp promotes the agricultural sector, a historical pillar of its economy since Antiquity, and its integration into international sustainable rural development programs.
