Narcissus - Narcissus tazetta

This program, from a series devoted to the wild flora of Tunisia by Ali Bellagha, illustrates the narcissus. These white flowers with a yellow center, which bloom at the end of winter, are very present in Mediterranean landscapes and Tunisian gardens. The message focuses on the preservation of biodiversity and the enhancement of indigenous nature. The illustration, of great botanical finesse, recalls the attachment of Tunisians to the cycles of nature and the importance of protecting the plant species which make up the country's natural heritage.
