National Organ Donation Awareness Day

This stamp was issued by the Tunisian Republic on October 2, 1999 to commemorate the National Organ Donation Awareness Day. This event, established at the end of the 1990s, aims to encourage the culture of organ donation within Tunisian society. The aim is to raise awareness among citizens of the fact that donation can save lives or considerably improve the quality of life of patients suffering from chronic illnesses.
