The Carob tree - Ceratonia siliqua

The carob tree is the symbol of resilience. Capable of growing in the poorest soils, it has long served as a food reserve. This stamp highlights a rustic species from the Tunisian forest heritage whose fruits are today rediscovered for their dietary virtues.
