Corsican mouflon - Ovis musimon

Although named "Corsican", this mouflon was introduced into Tunisian parks to enrich the biodiversity of mountainous areas. It symbolizes strength and adaptation.
The Corsican Mouflon (Ovis aries musimon) is a wild subspecies of the Domestic Sheep (Ovis aries). It is endemic to Corsica and Sardinia. It lives in the mountains, notably in the Cinto and Bavella reserves.
