Fantasy

This stamp exalts the tradition of “Fantasia” (or Lab el-Baroud), an ancestral equestrian demonstration which occupies a central place in popular festivals and festivals in Tunisia. Through the image of a rider in traditional attire controlling his rearing mount, the program pays homage to the culture of the bearded horse and the values ​​of courage, nobility and warrior virtuosity inherited from nomadic history. It is a celebration of collective memory and living folklore, recalling the importance of the links between man and animal in the construction of the socio-cultural identity of rural and Saharan regions.
