jasmine (Nyctanthes sambac)

Jasminum sambac or Arabian jasmine or sambac jasmine is a species of flowering plant in the family Oleaceae. It is a shrub native to the Himalayan regions of India (States of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh). It is widely cultivated in warm regions of the world for its very fragrant flowers which can be used in religious ceremonies or to flavor tea.
