19th Anniversary of Change

The 19th anniversary of “Change” in Tunisia, celebrated on November 7, 2006, marked nearly two decades of the presidency of Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, initiated in 1987. This annual speech in 2006 announced reforms on human rights, information and the economy, consolidating the regime before its fall in 2011.
