Dedicated to the cherry (Cerasus spp), known as “Hab el-Moulouk” (the fruit of kings), this stamp highlights the diversity of Tunisian microclimates. Cherry cultivation is emblematic of the mountainous regions of the North-West, notably Téboursouk and Makthar. By promoting this fruit, Tunisia highlights its high-altitude fruit heritage and the importance of local festivals which celebrate the harvest each year, thus strengthening the link between agriculture and regional identity.
