Dar Hsine

This program is dedicated to “Dar Hsine”, a majestic palace located on Castle Square, now serving as the headquarters of the National Heritage Institute. The illustration highlights the main courtyard decorated with curved columns and elaborate capitals, testifying to the crossed architectural influences, notably Ottoman and Italian, which shaped the princely residences of Tunis in the 19th century. This stamp carries a message of recognition towards the institutions which ensure the study and preservation of Tunisian history, while honoring the monumental splendor of Beylical high society.
