Street art in Tunisia (eL Seed - Temoula, Gabès)
This show presents a work by the world-renowned artist eL Seed, located in the Berber village of Temoula in Gabès. The illustration shows a dry stone building adorned with his signature style, “calligraffiti,” which fuses traditional Arabic calligraphy and modern urban art. This stamp carries a message of bridging between generations and cultures, promoting the rural heritage of southern Tunisia while projecting it into the universality of contemporary art. It is a celebration of the Arabic language as a plastic and aesthetic material.
