Welcome to Tunisia Stamps

3rd Anniversary of November 7

This stamp commemorates the third anniversary of the political change that occurred in 1987. Hatem El Mekki's illustration uses a festive and dynamic aesthetic: a monumental and immaculate number "7" stands out against a background of explosion of lights and colors reminiscent of fireworks. The message is about celebrating newfound stability and hoping for national renewal. The associated context is that of the consolidation of the "New Era", where official imagery sought to project a vision of modernity, influence and dynamism for the Tunisian Republic.
